Looking for any technical information pertaining to this model backhoe.
1. How deep will it dig.
2. Lift force (or any other rating to judge how strong it is).
3. What year of manufactured. Just looking for general year range.
4. What tractors was it originally made for?

I'm currently looking at a used 2150 and it comes with this backhoe. It wasn't attached when I looked at it, so I didn't get to try it out and it's a bit far away to go back and try it out. I have a John Deere 750 with backhoe (I think it is a 7A) and it fits my needs. I'd hate to go any smaller though. Want the Kubota because of HST... Getting tired of shifting.

Thanks,
Michael

That unit is a 6.5' backhoe and it was used on the B-series and the small L-series up to the 2850. Good hoe's like the rest of the Kubota line very well built. They had a 2885lbs for digging force and 1450 for bucket with 990 on the dipperstick for lift. Reach from the centerline of the rear axle is 130.9 with an approximate loading height of 70 inches. ....

Thank you for the detailed reply! It sounds like it is bit smaller than what I have (JD #7), assuming I'm converting your discriptions correctly with the JD owners manual. Plus the bucket is only 9", which means something else I'd have to find.

Thanks again,
Michael ....
